Correct, the US x40i doesn't get the M Perf Exhaust unfortunately as part of the M-Sport package or a standalone factory option. Why? No idea. It looks like in Canada and the UK the M-Sport package includes it on the x40i. US just get the shaft like usual.
You could certainly add it later I'm sure! Will just cost $2k+ if I had to guess.
