Redoing sprinkler lines after the concrete guys screwed them up?
Sucks donkey cock.
I had my driveway extended 2' either side a few weeks ago. Things were going well until I turned on the sprinkler lines.
It was like Niagara Fucking Falls for two separate zones.
The concrete crew had punctured the lines with their shovels, cut various heads off, and then just poured over them thinking the lines were abandoned.
No, they weren't. A *tiny* little miscommunication between the job supervisor and the crew.
So, two weeks of arguing with the concrete guy later, he finally came back and jackhammered the concrete out-- and then I spent two days (so far) digging in the slickest clay that I've ever had the misfortune to see-- the stuff is like goose shit and sticks to absolutely EVERYTHING.
It's fucking miserable.
One more day of despair in burying the lines (which are now outside of the zone of concrete pouring and the PVC conduit under the driveway is now properly extended), and I'll be able to have the concrete guy come back and pour the replacement pads.
This? I hate with the passion of a thousand burning suns.
But, it REALLY proves the old adage of "If you want something done right, do it yourself."
