I don't think she's that successful transforming from a dramatic actor to an action actor. I never thought she brought anything special to the Avenger series ... well maybe being a girl so it's hard to compete with Thor and Iron Man. Every scene with her and the hulk was kind of a dud. I think she made a couple of futuristic action flicks in which she was the main focus but they were more or less forgettable. I wish her the best.
The pre-digital age movies were mostly character driven. The 1990's and after it was mostly director driven with the likes of Quentin Tarantino. Now it's mostly special affect driven. Sure there are a few good ones with no special affect but most of them mostly went straight to Netflix.
