I heard that the ventilated seats were less comfortable than without….and it makes sense given that for the air channels to remain open the seat bottom would have to be a bit firmer. When I sat them side by side I couldn’t tell that big a difference but most of the complaints of seat firmness seemed to be folks with ventilated seats.
