I know I'm getting older cause I'm thoroughly impressed by the 40i. For this size SAV, it's quick enough to satisfy me nowadays. I spend most of my driving in Portland stop and go traffic so the 8 banger is overkill as were previous M cars. I love the silky smooth inline 6. Decent mpg too. I'd like a sportier sounding exhaust, that's about it.
