Fortunately, CarPro Tar-X removes it easily. Wash the vehicle, spray Tar-X, wipe off after a couple minutes, re-spray the vehicle, and dry. The downside is, I’m disinclined to do this every time I wash my X5 (at least weekly); but at least it’s Sapphire Black (so the tiny tar spots don’t show).
Has anyone else experienced this road treatment solution?

Brine (sodium Chloride) solution with sugar beet emulsion added probably. They use it here in Southern Ontario as well. Lowers the effective working temp of the salt brine. Also lowers the corrosive properties of the brine. PIA to keep vehicle clean.
