I have not read all 41 pages of
this thread, but something is going on, there. That's not to say that BMW is going to "move away" from PHEV, entirely.
Some models have recently discontinued this option: the Subaru Crosstrek and Lincoln Navigator come to mind. But the 45e is considered very good. The 50e is then what, a 3rd-generation system? They'll work it out, I think.
