clee1982 makes a very good point. This paint is a road hazard. Even driving at night, it's helpful to see the car's silhouette. What would other drivers see when X6 painted in VantaBlack is in the blind spot?

The marketing buzz around Vantablack paint is undoubtedly a result of BMW wanting to maintain brand awareness. I just hope it's not at the expense of building better suspensions or asking suppliers to maintain quality of parts, like high pressure fuel pumps.
