Yes unfortunately that's what I've learned also with a July 2020 build albeit a G05 not F95. Both my dealer and BMW corporate stated that all vehicles manufactured after 7/1/20 would be compatible including mine. Then upon delivery, vehicle software updates, and iOS updates, come to learn that X5's only built August or later, so MY21, are compatible. Bait and switch? Maybe. Big enough deal to not get the options and pricing I wanted on a MY20? No.
