It should be covered under BMW SULEV warranty, state absolutely matter, so does the mileage and year of the car. It is not unlimited.

Also it isn't the best idea to come asking for us to replace it. Legitimately we cannot unless there is an issue.
There is a decent list of things that would actually be covered but it is more vin/age/mileage/area specific to the car then just saying its covered under SULEV/California emissions warranty
