My first car was a 1982 Mercury Capri (Mustang Wannabe) with a 4sp and 302 engine.

I loved that car immensely as my Grandmother cosigned on a loan with me to start establishing my credit and I actually paid it off early.

Thought it was a beast..LOL...maybe had 150 HP. First got into "wrenching with that car. My Uncle who owned a garage at the time help me drop in a 351 Windsor.....and then I got my first taste of what would become a very expensive hobby.

Had an older woman run a red-light and crashed into the passenger side. Car was totaled and I picked up a yellow 1977 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6.
