I would never expect them to be standard, or a serial color - I would expect BMW to let me pay to have it painted another color. What I was told by the dealer was you can pay for them to paint it a color in their "special paints" category, meaning they've done it before, for an upcharge. If you want a color not in the special paints it can also be done, but the upcharge goes from ~$5k to ~$9k. If you look at the visualizer site you'll see Nardo, Rosso Corsa, Verde Mantis, etc. listed as special paints.

The bigger question for me was can SC do this, or only the plants in Germany? The special palettes are different between X5Ms and an M5, so my guess is they are slowly rolling them out in SC over time.
