The higher octane is more resistant to knock, so we would be sure. My guess is that 22 psi is too much with an otherwise stock vehicle. You may need downpipes to run that much boost.
I follow that, makes good sense. The HP tuners software that I used on a C6 Corvette had something in the log that measured or counted the signals from the knock sensors if I remember correctly. I wonder if some SUNOCO 94 would be worth a try.
