I agree. It's not some majorly necessary thing. I mainly play my audiobooks and music over CarPlay which I could do with just Bluetooth all the same.
Occasionally Waze but it has such poor integration into the iDrive 7 platform that I actually prefer the onboard navigation.
If it was missing, definitely wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me
