Oh wow, never seen that happen. Steam works too if the label is stubborn. You can use an iron and just pump the steam a few times above the label. (Do not put the iron on the label as it will make it stick more and do the opposite of what you're trying to achieve.) On new vehicles it shouldn't be much of an issue it's the older ones where the labels get baked on in the summer or simply turn brittle so when you remove them you wind up doing it in several small pieces.
