So, the grill unclamps at the top fairly easily, it’s just held by some clips. See pic. I didn’t attempt to do anything else but examine what was there. I didn’t try to take it all the way off because of the camera imbedded in it. But from what I could see, there actually are two separate kidneys within the chrome surround, but how to get them out. If you could do that you could paint them black. All that stuff is plastic, of course, pretty cheap looking when you start taking it apart. Anyone else experimenting out there? With the grill, I mean.
