Sensatec is plastic. Vernasca is real leather. I had a X5 loaner with Sensatec and it felt like vinyl and very out of place in a vehicle like the X5. I personally would much rather have cloth upholstery than vinyl in any price point of vehicle.
Trying to decide how close vinyl feels like leather is like trying to judge the best generic brand of hotdogs when you where expecting steak.
