I thought I was staring it to be as understandable as possible but I guess not.

As I related it to metric where each additional unit of measurement was equal and consistent thus making logical progression and sense. Fahrenheit works the same and is very easy to see the difference between freezing and say, the temperature of the normal human body (98.6) versus Celsius for those who don’t have a lifetime implementing its use can see it as non linear and strange. Hope that helps as you asked for the formula and knew it so I can’t tell if you’re being cheeky to win or truly seeking my perspective
