If you end up with an actual flat, especially if you go with a normal, non-RFT, the clearance will decrease, so you need to take that into consideration plus, you don't know exactly how flat the ground will be so tall may not be a viable choice.

If it's just to swap say winter-summer tires, then it shouldn't be an issue.

The vehicle is heavy, and a small, round pad, without an adapter to spread the load properly, is likely to bend or damage things.
