Oh, and I meant to say, I paired my phone to the car with bluetooth, and tried out the Harman Kardon audio system. Very nice.
I'm a movie and music junkie, and build private high-end movie theaters for a "hobby". One of the first things I tried out was my high-res audio of Dire Straits' "Money for Nothing", which is one of my primary demo songs I test out systems with. The sound was clear, bass strong and supported with power, not strained. Of course, this was through bluetooth, which doesn't have the same fidelity and bandwith as a wired connection.
So overall, I wasn't blown away by the 50i HK audio, but it was plenty sufficient for me, for the use of car audio, which even in the best of cars is anything but a controlled, optimal environment for critical audio listening.
