I ordered an M-Sport on Wednesday with the 21" Y-spoke 741M performance run flats - struggling with winter tires. The entire wheel/tire program with the G05 seems not that well thought-out which is frustrating. My wife has Pirelli Scorpions on her Q7 and we both really like them because they work well while being quiet. We've always just swapped tires for winter and not wheels/tires to keep the stock look. It appears these are maybe my only two options since nothing fits so looking for some opinions...
Front:
275/40 R21 - No problem, easy (thanks BMW)
Rear:
Can't get a 315/35 R21 but I can get a 315/40 R21 OR 295/35 R21 - so either stretching the tire some (really don't like the look of this but did it to square up the Blizzaks on my M3) or adding some sidewall. Initial reaction is to run a 40 so it matches the front vs. stretching the rear...
Any ideas or suggestions?
