So, you're not in "US, Canada, and many other regions", are you? :-). So maybe your experience isn't the same in markets it's not released yet? Maybe? :-)
In any case, Apple App Store has very strong and fine-grained regional release control available to app publishers. I think Android Play Store does as well, but memory is failing me if that's actually the case and, by default, Android ecosystem is generally much less controlled than Apple's ... so it would be interesting to know if anyone in "unreleased regions" got the MyBMW app on Android yet?
