2019 X5 40i After market trailer hitch installation

Hi everyone. I took possession of my first BMW and first white colored car yesterday. Psyched! I immediately went to install a hitch. Here's some pictures if it helps any of you DIY. There were some issues that I realized that you can avoid on your venture.

I can't seem to post notes by the specific picture but you may want to watch them re-install because I had to return because the rear "black "piece" was sticking out a bit after installation and I didn't catch it when I was there. A quick punch and it went back in.

If you look at the rear pictures, the space between the lower trunk and bumper has a slightly larger gap.

They need to remove the lights, in order to remove the bumper.

The only mod to the car is cutting of the aluminum metal (bumper?). They cut off both sides. And then the last plastic piece that covers from the bottom. That was cut a bit oddly so you may want to have that traced out before it's cut. Mines was a little off but I'm ok with it.

Did it in Hitch King by Floral Park, NY. Adam the owner is good as well as the installer, Alex and his buddy that looks like Einstein.

Last picture is my ride with 20% tint done the same day.
