I have an 10/2018 X5. CarPlay subscription ran out and I had the same grayed out CarPlay option on the connected drive website. But it just started working again without me renewing anything. 👐🏻
Hopefully they've realized how crazy it is to charge for this on SUV's at this price point... Though I very much doubt it. Ha
