FWIW, charging with any EVSE is 'slow' compared to EVs that can utilize DC charging. In the US, level 1 = 120vac input, and it is less efficient than level 2 = 240vac input. Mode 1 and mode 2 are different, and in Europe at all 220-230vac inputs, just different current levels. On a hot day after a hard drive, a higher current level input MIGHT call for a bit more cooling, but for the most part, on shorter trips and more temperate conditions, may not call for any cooling at all.
