I'm not sure where it comes from but I'm pretty confident it is picking up radar gun signals. There's a Highway Patrol Office right off the I5 freeway close to where I live. Sometimes when I drive that section of I5 I get the "Radar Warning 1500 feet" message.
I suspect when I get this message they are calibrating there Radar Guns before they hit the road to catch speeders. It doesn't happen all the time but it's always in the same spot by the HP office. |

mine goes on where there are absolutely 0 police or people sometimes so I'm not sure. I'd love to see some days on how it works because there doesn't seem to be anything outside of the fixed ones they can program
