I drive these canyons a lot, what matters most is having a small and light car. These massive EVs have their own gravitational pull, yet everybody in the media tries to hype them up as if they are Porsche 911s.

I didn't really see the video that way, I think they were simply complimentary of the handling for its size. They didn't really say it was sports car like, but rather that the car had a well sorted chassis, steering, brakes, etc. for a vehicle of its size and created an overall fun experience that they were surprised of and weren't expecting. I'm not too surprised by the positive handling comments as the CEO of Lucid was Chief Engineer at Lotus and according to Jason Cammisa, he's mentioned in a podcast that all Lucid chassis engineers have classic-era BMW's.
