Most people interested in Tesla already have their mind made up because there isn't a viable EV alternative. Alternatively, most people interested in an X5 expect a certain level of luxury that is certainly not found in a Model X. There may be a very small group that cross shops the two for the tech, but otherwise they are very different vehicles.
