Can't comment on whether that USB interface works, but the separate Ethernet and USB interfaces approach is what I use and it gives great flexibility, for example to use Ethernet-Lightning adapter for Bimmercode (which makes Bimmercode lightning fast, no pun intended).
Great point. I may need to bend your ear soon for some Noob tips on coding. I've watched your transformation on the boards from Noob to Coding Jedi!
