I just checked and everything is updated now. I'm on software .65. The remote start is part of version .65 so not only are you getting the remote start, but anything else that might have been fixed, which I don't know what it is. The remote start is not a software "patch", its part of an updated overall software. Whether or not this version is Canada specific I am unsure of
