Do you guys recommend getting an extended warranty plan for the X5? They seem rather expensive however I found some good pricing at a dealer from California.

More importantly, I know that maintenance is included for 36K miles however there are things that aren't covered like the brake pads, wiper blades etc. I am trying to decide if I should spend money to upgrade to a maintenance plan or not.
