If you don't have a heavy foot on the brakes and only driving less than 12k miles/yr then u probably don't need the extended warranty. If you will drive the car hard then get it as the cost of replacing tires and brakes will add up quickly.
Keep in mind her tires are $500 a pop (sale and labor) so that's $2000 total to replace the 4 tires only.
