A friend of mine connects his a bit differently, he has a jag, the battery is in the trunk so he used the ring lugs to attach to the battery and then just connects/disconnects via the two prong connector. He leaves his trunk lid just resting down and the wire hangs out. Takes less than one minute to disconnect and close the trunk. Sure beats having battery issues and paying for new batteries. With our newer more high tech cars, they never fully sleep.
