Lexus and Toyota are greatly responsible for the overall improvemnet of cars, not just in their own lineup but also putting the european automakers on notice for fproducing better cars. Having said that, My wifes RX330 was in the shop earlier this week and we had an IS250AWD for a loaner to tool around for a day. My impressions - Good, solid little car with good handling and decent pickup. My only complaint was: Interior was very tight. I'm not a tall guy - 5'10" and my head was scraping the headliner. Even setting the seat back and low, the driving posiiton seemed cramped and claustriphobic (Sp?)

Ya sure, I never am against the competitions, they are always good. But as a BMW owner, I just want to support the European automakers more.
