By the time you are plugging more things than TMAP, might as well go to flash tune. Much2 better than 8 bit processor controlling multiple high speed sensors reading.
Also, how do you know that they use the OBD2 / CANBUS reading for timing or fuel control?
AFAIK, it is only for reading, not overriding or writing over the CANBUS signal.
Not to derail the thread but this is total nonsense. The JB4 is capable of driving 6x 10-14 bit analog sensors more than 3000 times per second which is almost ten times faster than the vehicles computer even reads them. In addition it can also simultaneously run complex CANbus involving thousands of bytes of data per second, fuel control, wastegate control, several digital inputs and outputs some at tens of thousands of hertz, Bluetooth for the advanced app, water/meth, E85 integration, and much more.

RaceChip is comparable to the BMS Stage1 and JB+ tunes that offer analog only TMAP biasing without CANbus. For something inexpensive they offer a little bang for the buck but they can't even read the gas pedal input, can't compete with the smoothness and refinement of a JB4. For what they do though they are fine.

There is a FAQ on BMS page for customers wondering about the differences.

In regard to flash tuning it offers a few things not possible JB4 only but also leaves a permanent trace behind, so it just depends on your needs. The JB4 is designed to be fully compatible with all flash maps including the free flash maps BMS provides for JB4 customers who are willing and able to flash.
