Again the point I was making to someone else that posted, was that the IS500 will not be the same price as the just released starting price for the Type S ($50k). Option for option, I think there's going to be a $8-10k difference between the two. Even the M340i is over $60k in the US why would we expect the IS500 to be any less?

I understand that, and I did not say otherwise. Again, PR said low $50ks, so that could mean $51-$52k right? I could be wrong, but maybe Acura is holding off on exact numbers until Lexus announce pricing on the IS500?
Well it is "ancient" like everyone else says. We can keep going back and forth, but I think it makes more sense to revisit this topic once we have official numbers from both automakers.
