I bought my LCI in Sept, 2017, and had the first oil change in January 2018 at the 1200 mile mark. Now, as i understand it, we get 3 free oil changes done annually. Question is, do i need to get the first one in Sept even though mileage driven is low in the last year, and a yearly change would mean having the dealer change it in January instead.. However, if I do January each year, I'll only get 2 changes within the covered 3 year free maintenance since purchase.

How do we resolve this apparent paradox?
