Got my production number, it must really be happening. Owners Circle shows "On Order", but the dealer says 112 (Production scheduled). Bought tickets for me and the wife, looking forward to fun fun fun (you know the rest).

I'm told I'm one of only two that are getting ED on a Series 1 from this particular dealer, at least until the whole ED allocation BS is resolved (or BMW decided that the Series 1 just doesn't have enough margin for the US). I'll leave that dealer anonymous as I am assured they can't do the deal again, I just started pestering them in October, and got a promise (verbal and honored to their credit) before the bad ED news broke.
