I purchase an extra set of all the rear badges from someone here as a back up set. Painted them gloss black with a extra coat of clear protection coat. came out pretty good. Going to paint the 2nd set to see if i can perfect it 
btw, it cost me $30 for the extra set and about $20 for both paint and 3M heavy duty double sided tape |
I gave in a few days ago and ordered both the X5 and Xdrive 40i in Gloss Black.
I guess I'll now have a set to potential experiment on.
