I ordered the only 22" winter tire made in the factory spec size for the X5: the Pirelli Scorpion Winter
(DOT laws in Germany don't offer much flexibility on tire sizing)
That being said, I couldn't see the point in opting for the black factory 22" wheels, and then swapping the look/having to live with a smaller, not as fitting size for winter. Sure there may be some benefit, but I love the look with the factory 22s.
Price is a bit crazy though. I got a "deal" (albeit waiting too long to pull the trigger as I ordered last week instead of early fall: 2600 Euros installed. That's insane for tires but on a 128,000 Euro truck, it's all relative.
