Maybe so, but I sold my M3 last year so I've moved on. Even on RE-71Rs on stock tune, the TC intervention was just too annoying for me when accelerating.

As for my driving style, I don't get enjoyment out of throttle modulation or gradual tip in. My foot is a hammer and I want grip when I want it. Other RWD cars with similar power are much less fussy and intrusive with the TC programming, so it's not a matter of mechanical grip. The few times I did disable TC completely, the car behaved exactly like I wanted it to, but I was not about to drive with TC off all the time on public roads, which is where I used the car exclusively.
