I have a 2020 X5 40i M Sport and the exhaust sound is disappointing. Only the drivers side flap is open on start up and for most of the time. I used my Carly app to open passenger side and then unplugged it. Still sounds like blah. I had a 2016 X5 50i m sport...you will need to put some $$$ into an exhaust system to make it sound good and even then, it will not sound like a V8. Now my X3M....great sound but still not a V8 either.
