That's why the feature is so good - your music stays on until you actually leave the car. Once that door opens (unless other people are in the car), everything shuts down. If you do things out of order, ie sometimes I forget to shut the car off b/c of ASS and the door is already open, everything will stay on. However once you lock the car it will shut it all down.
