Ok, based on much of the work done by member jaimeen77, we now know that it is, in fact, possible to code different ambient light colours! Below is one way, there may be other ways, and there is more to research and test in here beyond the basics presented.

It is FDL coding, so you need ESys with a launcher (ESysX or Launcher Pro) -- sorry, no Bimmercode at this time, not even Expert Mode. It is a little more complicated than usual as one has to fill in two tables, so I won't go into the detail here yet, but perhaps will try to organize a structure tutorial at some point. PM me if you want unstructured details earlier, but you'll have to pass a skill testing question: "What does this mean #7FFFD4 and what is its base10 value?"

In the meantime, you can use this FDL Cheat Code file to get my settings. The file is here: https://pastebin.com/tLnqZc6f and the colours and colour mappings are:

6 colours:
00 Magenta
01 Blue
02 Cyan
03 Orange
04 Red
05 Purple

11 combinations
00 Bronze/Bronze --> Cyan/Cyan
01 Bronze/White --> Cyan/Blue
02 Orange/Orange --> Orange/Orange
03 Orange/White --> Red/Orange
04 White/White --> Red/Red
05 Blue/Blue --> Blue/Blue
06 Blue/White --> Magenta/Blue
07 Green/Green --> Magenta/Magenta
08 Green/White --> Magenta/Orange
09 Lilac/Lilac --> Purple/Purple
10 Lilac/White --> Magenta/Purple
Because I am being asked for clarification and for use in BimmerCode Expert Mode coding (vs ESys), here are the tables with the colours in this original old post (the "LexxM3-set03" set). The tables also pretty clearly show the (currently known parts of the) structure of the LIC_LCI_LIBRARY_DATA and LIC_LCI_COLOR_PROFILES_DATA tables for your own customization. The colour values are just 24bit (3 bytes in hex) RGB "web colours" you can decode/encode in many places online (for example: https://htmlcolorcodes.com/).
