A few weeks ago my son and I clayed his new Ford Ranger, applied JetSeal and then the next day applied Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. When I have more time I will post a pic but IMO it looked really good.

I have gone the topper route, but the problem is the carnuba topper still only lasts a couple months at most, then you are back to the plastic look of the Jetseal 109. You should try the ceramics. The durability is ridiculous and the depth of shine is equivalent to high end carnubas.
