I've compared the base, air, and M adaptive suspensions and the M adaptive wins hands down if you are spirited driver. I've heard some comments of how the air suspension in lowest setting and in sport mode can give a similar level of sportiness but in my test drive, it still drove like a boat. Its why i decided to opt out from the Air and get the M adaptive along with IAS.
However, I've never compared a 40i M adaptive to a 50i M adaptve DHP..i'd like to know how much difference there is between the 2....that is, how much difference does it make by adding anti roll bars and limited slip differential.

It was the base suspension on the 40i. I did previously test drive an X3 M40i with M suspension...was a rougher ride for sure.
