Great thread! I am a red guy 100%, the bolder the better. Cabs and Syrah top my list. These are my go to wines. There are 3 from the Niner winery in the Paso Robles area, which also has a beautiful tasting room if you get a chance to go. The Pride Mountain is a special occasion wine for us, and is absolutely scrumptious. Run it through a strainer. And who doesn't like Stag's Leap?

Pride is just great. I have a Reserve Cabernet and a couple of their Viogners that are just great.
