I'm weary with repairs and this is my first M car. I don't know what to expect post 4 yrs and have been saved by CPO warranty in the past. New crated engine in my 2001 E38 10 days prior to CPO expiration made me a believer!

This car isn't getting flipped in a couple of year. I plan for us to be in a long relationship for at least 6 yrs until we separate.

As an alternative to extended warranty I'm now thinking of putting those funds towards Full Silverstone and engaging the dealer to CPO the car post 36 months.

Has anyone had any experience adding CPO warranty prior to new car warranty expiration?
