Just for a laugh, I configured a 335xi (AWD version) on the BMW USA website to be as close to my 135i config as was obvious:

My 335xi Sedan 3.0-liter, turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine, xDrive, intelligent all-wheel-drive

Base MSRP
$40,800
Sparkling Graphite Metallic $475
Gray Dakota Leather $1,450
Brushed Aluminum trim $0
Sport Package $900
Comfort Access system $500
iPod and USB adapter $400
M Aerodynamic Kit $1,250
iPodŽ Interface Adapter $320
Destination & Handling: $775

Total MSRP as Built $46,870

Now, in Aussie $$'s at todays exchange rates, that's $50,145.83

That's just plain depressing . I'm not going to do that any more. There are some glaring discrepencies there, for example they pay US$475 for metallic paint, we pay AU$1600 - go figure.
