Ah got it. Kinda sad but I've had the car for a little over a month now and have yet to drive it when it's dark out so I can't really comment on how the ambient lighting looks. Once the baby entered the picture my schedule shifted a bit, to say the least.
Good thing is that you can adjust the intensity of the light so I think you'll be able to find a brightness you're comfortable with. Also I think pictures tend to be somewhat oversaturated.
